Arapahoe Golf Invite
- 7th place (Individual) - Haiden Van Houtan (84)
- 6th Place (Team) - Haiden Van Houtan, Ander Wasenius, Cooper Wendland, Rafe Hill, and Chris Hermes
Haiden placed 7th out of 70 golfers yesterday in the Arapahoe Golf Invite shooting an 84. The team consisting of Haiden, Ander, Cooper, Rafe, and Chris placed 6th with a team score of 376 out of 15 teams.

Today - Last Late Start/Teacher In-Service
Next Wednesday - No School (Jim Mather Track Meet)
Today was the last Teacher In-Service and 10am late start for the 2022-2023 School Year. Also, 1 week from today on Wednesday, April 19th we will be hosting our annual Jim Mather Track Meet, so there will be no school that day as staff will be helping run the meet!

The second and fifth graders went on a buddy Easter egg hunt last Thursday! They had a blast going to the outdoor classroom searching for eggs!

Inspired Winter Scenes - 2nd-4th Grade Art
The kids have been having fun doing all kinds of projects w/ Ms. Woosley this semester and it's been exciting to see what project she's going to hang up next!
For this project 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders learned about watercolor artist Jen Aranyi and then created a winter landscape inspired by her artwork!
They used Sharpie to draw mountains, trees, and other winter scenery. The white landscape contrasts with the colorfully painted sky. 4th and 3rd graders learned the wet-on-wet watercolor technique and the salt technique while the 2nd graders learned how to paint with markers.

Tree of Life - 5th/6th Grade Art
The kids have been having fun doing all kinds of projects w/ Ms. Woosley this semester and it's been exciting to see what project she's going to hang up next!
5th/6th grade students learned about artist Gustav Klimt and his 1909 work the "Tree of Life, Stoclet Frieze".
In this mixed media project students had to depict the principle of art pattern and at least 10 symbols that represent their own life.

Kandinsky - Inspired Abstract Art
3rd Grade
The kids have been having fun doing all kinds of projects w/ Ms. Woosley this semester and it's been exciting to see what project she's going to hang up next!
3rd Grade Students learned about Wassily Kandinsky and his Art, as well as how Art can be influenced by music and our emotions.
Students created their own abstract art while listening to instrumental music; They drew how the song made them feel using oil pastel, and the wet on wet watercolor technique
