Secondary Science Teacher Arapahoe-Holbrook Public School is accepting applications for an energetic and talented Secondary Science Teacher to join our high performing district for the 2023-2024 school year. Arapahoe is a progressive, rural community of over 1,000 residents, located 38 miles south of Lexington, NE, 40 miles east of McCook, NE, and 32 miles west of Holdrege, NE. AHPS is a one-to-one district with over 145 (7-12) students utilizing chromebooks in a newly remodeled high school and science classroom. The successful candidate must possess a Nebraska Teaching Certificate and have, or be able to obtain, a 7-12 science endorsement as required by NDE. Previous experience in a science teaching position is preferred, but not required. Coaching and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
