On Monday we will begin our 2023 "Art Madness" tournament! What is Art Madness you ask? This tournament is a fun twist on the NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament. I have selected 64 different artists that will "compete" against each other until we get a winner.
So how exactly does this work?! Everyday I will send out an email with a link(s) to a google form for the artists that are competing that day. The google form will include information about each artist as well as photos of some of their art. Once you have looked at their art and read a little about the artist, you will vote on which artist you think is better or like more. You may only vote once per match up. Because I am getting a late start on this, we will most likely do 2 match ups per day for rounds 1 and 2.
But wait, it gets better! Outside my room I have printed off brackets for the tournament. 7-12 students and all staff are encouraged to grab a bracket and fill it out. Whoever is the closest to filling out the bracket correctly will get a big prize from me at the end! Brackets MUST be filled out in pen and turned into Ms. Woosley Monday before school starts. Your bracket will be hung up outside the art room next to my giant bracket so you can follow along.
Don't be afraid to pop in the art room or email me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Good Luck!
Ms. Woosley
