The Cross Country team had a strong showing at their first meet of the season today in Benkelman with the Boys Team finishing as Runner-Up and 3 individual medalists including our lone HS girl River Einspahr placing 11th.
Wayne Lee (16th) and Corbin Carpenter (18th) narrowly missed out on medaling as well but helped secure 2nd place for our Boys Team finishing runner-up to Class C Chase County and narrowly defeating 3rd place Cambridge.
It was an early morning as we ran at 9AM (MT) to beat the exteme heat we've been having lately.
They will travel to Cambridge next Friday for their next meet at 10am. Let's keep up the momentum Warriors!
