Ag Safety Day
The Junior High students attended Ag Safety Day, hosted by Southern Valley, today. They learned about the various dangers that can be found on farms and in rural communities and participated in hands-on activities and presentations from the Nebraska State Patrol, UNL Extension, Holdrege Irrigation, Tri-Valley Health, and several local FFA chapters from Furnas and Harlan Counties.
Thank you to the Furnas/Harlan Extension for organizing this event, and to all the presenters for helping educate our students about being safe in our rural community!
