Today juniors attended the College and Career fair in Cambridge . Four-year and two-colleges were represented as were local businesses such as Paulsen Inc, First State Bank, Tri Valley, and Valmont. The Nebraska National Guard, Nebraska State Patrol and the Furnas Co Sheriff's Department were also in attendance.

Seniors had the opportunity to attend the college fair at Holdrege High School. There were representatives from 4-yr and 2yr colleges from NE, KS, SD and WY as well as representatives from beauty academies, vocational trade schools, the United State Air Force and the Army National Guard

Last Wednesday seniors participated in Apply to College Day. They learned about the FAFSA and applied to colleges of their choice.

4th Grade has officially started learning recorders today! The brain pathways this will create for your students are crucial to their development. Thank you for encouraging them to practice at home! Attached is the first or "white" belt, "Hot Cross Buns." They can practice at home and then try for their belt at school.

Kindergarten got to play instruments for the first time in music today! They loved it! "I wish I could take one home," was said many times.

The Warriors let the lead slip away as Alma converts a big 4th down to turn into a score then converts the onside kick and turn it into another score to steal the victory from the Warriors.

After three quarters of play, Alma leads the Warriors 14-12 but the Warriors are threatening to score. Fourth down attempt by the Warriors coming up!
