Electronics – Conduct electronics experiments culminating in a 2-wheeled robot 5. Pneumatics – Use air to make machines do the work (also applies to hydraulics) 6. Internet of Things – Make a Smart home that you can run from an Echo Dot or phone. 7. Graphic Design – Tell a story using the Cricut Explore Air 2 cutter 8. Virtual Reality – Tell a story in 3D using a 360-degree camera and view the story or have other unique experiences using the Oculus Meta Quest 2 headsets 9. Last week the juniors got to experiment with various techniques to separate a mixture.

We concluded our Dewey Decimal Classification System unit today. Fifth graders worked in teams as we played Jeopardy to test students' knowledge of where books belong in the library. Some questions were tougher than others, but it was fun to see students work together!

Arapahoe's competitors included: Meg Hilker, Amelia Blickenstaff, Elizabeth Magorian, Alaina Leising, Zach Einspahr, Romalie Williamson, Lilly Helms (not pictured: Elena Lee, Cydney Carlson, and Bryce Melhus) The Arapahoe students performed well and several earned medals!
